Blunge is a duo of childhood friends exploring the space between organic instrumentation and electronic sound. With contrabass, trumpet, and a sea of synthesizers, they create a sonic world where hand-played instruments merge with rich, evolving synthesis.
Their music moves with patience and depth, drawing on the melodic sensitivity and spaciousness that define ambient music. Blunge’s sound is intimate yet dynamic, balancing acoustic warmth with textured electronic landscapes.
While their music echoes traditions shaped by artists such as Boards of Canada and Nils Frahm, and carries the spirit of American jazz, Blunge ultimately sounds like no one but themselves—melodic, immersive, and quietly powerful.
JUBO A is the solo project of Anders Juel Bomholt, where ambient textures meet decaying tape loops, ethereal effects, and deep, resonant bass. The project explores a sonic landscape that fuses ambient music, outsider techno, meditative soundscapes, and a lyrical approach rooted in jazz.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Nils Frahm, Brian Eno, and Boards of Canada, as well as minimalistic jazz traditions, JUBO A reflects Anders’ fascination with the intersection of electronic and acoustic worlds. Using double bass, piano, horns, and subtly manipulated electronics, the music drifts between warmth and abstraction; an introspective and atmospheric experience that defies genre boundaries.
